Brief Synopsis of the movies
Aashiqui 2 – Rahul Jaykar (Aditya) used to a very popular rockstar, but his addiction to alcohol and his depression cost him his fame. However when he meets a budding singer Aarohi (Shraddha) his life completely changes and he decides to make her the next singing sensation. As she climbs the ladders of success he is left behind and pretty soon jealousy creeps in. The movie stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Shraddha Kapoor and is directed by Mohit Suri.
Shootout At Wadala – The movie starts in the 70′s. Manya Surve( John Abraham) is a bright college student but is wrongly sent to jail, upon his release he decides to take over the underworld. However he has to take care of the rival gang the Haksar brothers, Zubair ( Manoj Bajpayee) and Dilawar(Sonu Sood). Both Gangs want to control the city however trigger happy cop Aafaque Bagraan(Anil Kapoor) has plans to wipe them all out. The movie stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood and Tusshar Kapoor and is directed by Sanjay Gupta.
Fauladi Rakshak – This is a dubbed Hindi version of Iron Man 3. The review for this movie is the same as Iron Man 3 and the review is mentioned below in Iron Man 3.
Bombay Talkies – Story 1 by Karan Johar is about a gay man Avinash (Saqib Saleem) who befriends Gayatri (Rani) who is married to Dev (Hooda). They have a loveless marriage and surprisingly sparks fly between Avinash and Dev. Story 2 by Dibakar Bannerjee has Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing as Purandhar. He has a theater background and gets a tiny role in Bollywood, will he make it big? Story 3 by Zoya Akhtar is about a little boy named Vicky (Naman) who idolizes Katrina Kaif, and wants to dance on ‘Sheela ki jawaani’, however his father is against this. Story 4 by Anurag Kashyap is about Vijay who has come all the way from Allahabad, on the demand of his father to get Amitabh Bachchan to taste a murabba. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Katrina Kaif and the directors are Karan Johar, Dibakar Bannerjee, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap.
Iron Man 3 – After saving the planet (in Avengers), one might think that playboy-philanthropist Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), would feel stronger and better however those events make him more anxious. That’s when the unsuspecting hero is faced with dreadful threats from the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley), a Middle Eastern terrorist, who is set to destroy America with his army of indestructible lava men. Will the Iron Man defeat the Mandarin. The movie stars Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Don Cheadle, Rebecca Hall and is directed by Shane Black.
